Playing of the TrueNorth Greater Cedar Rapids Open, presented by UFG Insurance, began in earnest.

79 professionals and 16 amateurs from at least 25 different states are competing at Hunters Ridge Golf Course in Marion, IA, for the Sam Farner/Bob Brooks GCRO Trophy. The trophy will be awarded after 54 holes of competition on Saturday afternoon, July 27th. Our leader, after a very benign day compared to the start of the week, was Bryce Emory of Aurora, IL. He shot a wonderful 65 on day one.

Looks like the weather is going to be great for the last two days of the 2024 tournament – come out and watch!
