The Greater Cedar Rapids Open is a 54-hole tournament for professional golfers.
Yes. Refunds will be given (less a $35 processing fee) if the withdraw notification is received via email (michelematt@ymail.com) or phone call (319-431-7294) before 5 p.m. Friday, July 15. Refunds will be processed the week of the event.
Yes. Once the field is full, we will begin a waiting list. Golfers on that list will be contacted in the order of that list when there is an opening.
No. However, golfers who make the professional cut will receive money, and checks will not be issued until your Social Security information is on file. Please be sure to provide that information upon finishing your round on Saturday.

Hunters Ridge Golf Course will be available for practice rounds on Monday, July 22nd. No practice rounds will be available on Tuesday or Wednesday due to our Pro/Am schedule. For tee times and information, call the golf shop at 319-377-3500.
Yes. Buckets of balls are available and are complimentary between Tuesday and Saturday during the week of the tournament. Buckets of range balls (50 to 55 balls per bucket) will be available at all other times for a fee of $5.50.
All golfers have an opportunity to indicate a preferred tee time when submitting their entry. Those time ranges are all on a “first-come, first-served” basis and are based on when the tournament committee received the entry fee. Requested tee time preferences are not guaranteed. Special needs for specific tee times should be brought to the attention of Hunters Ridge Golf Course Head Golf Professional Nate Severin, who will be handling all tournament tee times and pairings.
No. Golf professionals are required to wear trousers during the Pro/Am event. All golfers – professional, senior and amateur – playing in the Greater Cedar Rapids Open are required to wear trousers.
All Open Division players are required to walk. However, if a player is permanently disabled and presents documentation from a doctor, the committee reserves the decision to allow riding in a cart in that instance.
Yes. Area youth will be trained in caddying for this event. The TrueNorth Greater Cedar Rapids Open committee will pay the first $30 per round for each caddie. Additional tips are at your expense, but are greatly appreciated. Be sure to indicate on your entry form whether you would like a caddie. Please note: The GCRO will pay only for the caddies it provides.
Distance only electronic range finders are allowed. Players will be asked to show rules officials their device to ensure it is compliant with the rules.
